Recognised for outstanding contribution to Agriculture & Animal Husbandry at a grand felicitation ceremony

New Delhi:
Dhapu, a resident of Barmer district in Rajasthan, was honoured with the prestigious “Padam Ratan Samman” and also conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his notable contributions in the field of Agriculture & Animal Husbandry at a grand ceremony held in New Delhi. The honours were bestowed for his sustained efforts at the grassroots level, aimed at strengthening farming practices and promoting better animal welfare in rural communities.

The award and honorary recognition were presented in the presence of eminent dignitaries and distinguished guests. The felicitation was graced by R. D. Meena (Retd. IAS); Dr. Anurag Saxena, President of the Journalist Council of India; Ishmeet Kaur, Mrs India World Celebrity Stylist; Means Malhotra, hotelier, influencer and blogger; Anu Shamihoke, entrepreneur, pageant winner and fashion event curator; Dr. Mahesh Gaur, International Mental Coach Trainer; and Dr. Pankaj Khatwani, Operations Head (India) of the King’s Book of World Records.

For the Honorary Doctorate segment, the ceremony was attended by Abdulkarim Abbas Gora, Umar Mohammed Usman, and Mr. Craig (Karachi), who were present as members of the AASI. The organisers clarified that Dr. Felix Ofosu Djan could not attend the ceremony, and the honorary recognition was facilitated in the presence of the attending dignities.

The organisers stated that the Honorary Doctorate is a non-academic honorary recognition conferred by WEBBIC University to honour professional, social and humanitarian contributions, and must not be treated as an educational qualification. They further clarified that the Padam Ratan Samman is a private honour presented by the King’s Book of World Records and has no direct or indirect association with the Padma Awards conferred by the Government of India.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries appreciated Dhapu’s commitment to rural development and community welfare. They noted that recognising individuals working at the grassroots level encourages positive change and inspires others to contribute meaningfully to society. The ceremony concluded on an encouraging note, with participants acknowledging the importance of celebrating service and dedication.
