Amrit Lal from Jaisalmer Honoured with “Padam Ratan Samman” and Honorary Doctorate in New Delhi

Recognised for dedicated service in Social Service & Literature at a grand felicitation ceremony

New Delhi:
Amrit Lal, a resident of Jaisalmer district in Rajasthan, was conferred with the prestigious “Padam Ratan Samman” and also awarded an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his commendable work in the fields of Social Service & Literature. The honours were presented at a dignified felicitation ceremony held in New Delhi, acknowledging his continuous efforts towards social upliftment and his meaningful literary contributions that have inspired people at the community level.

The ceremony was attended by eminent dignitaries and notable personalities from different walks of life. The honours were presented in the presence of R. D. Meena (Retd. IAS); Dr. Anurag Saxena, President of the Journalist Council of India; Ishmeet Kaur, Mrs India World Celebrity Stylist; Means Malhotra, hotelier, influencer and blogger; Anu Shamihoke, entrepreneur, pageant winner and fashion event curator; Dr. Mahesh Gaur, International Mental Coach Trainer; and Dr. Pankaj Khatwani, Operations Head (India) of the King’s Book of World Records.

For the Honorary Doctorate segment, the ceremony was attended by Abdulkarim Abbas Gora, Umar Mohammed Usman, and Mr. Craig (Karachi), who were present as members of the AASI. The organisers clarified that the Honorary Doctorate is a non-academic honorary recognition conferred by WEBBIC University and must not be treated as an educational qualification.

The organisers further stated that the Padam Ratan Samman is a private honour presented by the King’s Book of World Records to recognise individuals who have demonstrated excellence and positive social impact in their respective domains. It was clarified that the award has no direct or indirect association with the Padma Awards conferred by the Government of India.

The dignitaries appreciated Amrit Lal’s sustained contribution to social service initiatives and his role in promoting literature and reading culture among the masses. The ceremony concluded on a warm and inspiring note, celebrating service, creativity and commitment to society.
